Monday, we took the car in for an oil change--and a concern about the 2 leaks of something on our garage floor. Had the oil change done but do not feel it's worth replacing the water pump, oil pan, timing cover, and crane seal for just under $1,000. So we are car shopping! This will be a Change that will not leave much change in our pockets!
Wednesday morning we headed South in the rain--just ahead of freezing rain. It was 1 degree Celcius in Kingsville. As we drove the sun came out along with some wind. After unpacking, we enjoyed a walk on the Ohio State University campus in 21 degree Celcius--daffodils were in full bloom!! Within the hour (after returning to our hotel room) it began to hail! BIG Change!
Being that our gas is costing $1.20 a litre in Canada, we love to fill up when we are over the border. Wednesday, the sign at the bridge that converts the cost of gas from gallon to litre read 82 cents a litre--good deal! As we drove over the bridge this morning, headed to the Detroit Temple--the price of gas had gone up to 87 cents a litre, in only 2 days! Another BIG Change!
As they say, change is as good as a rest. How come we're feeling so tired!!!
