Everyone had seen him but me.
The neighbours to the left of us. The neighbours to the right of us.
One neighbour even called Irene one early evening to say the eagle was in the field. But I was half an hour away. Irene even saw him.
Then this week we got the call. Our one neighbour called and said, "The eagle has landed...and he's flapping his wings."
So with no telescopic lense our Cannon PowerShot gave us this small glimpse at Ernie.
