Saturday morning we were joined by Ken, Heather and Laura Gilpin and Max, Terry, and Sarah de Boer as we all went together to Granny"s Gourmet Donuts - an independent home made donut maker, with fresh made and fruit or sweet filed donuts.

So Mr Man allowed us all to choose two donuts each - the fruit ones had jam like filling and then real fruit on top. The grandchildren also got to dip the icing coated donuts into sprinkles.

Since the Preschooler was anxious to start enjoying his donut he sat down on the few seats to eat his while the rest of us waited to go to the park.
Then Grandma found the perfect book in the freebie pile to read to him.
