Beauty of Palisade Falls

There was family on both sides visiting in Montana and so the plan was to go for a hike in the afternoon to Palisade Falls. It was absolutely magnificent scenery against rocky mountain backdrops with pine trees, with lovely sunshine with rich blue skies and wisps of clouds, warm temperatures and a touch of breeze that made for an enjoyable time walking up the steep pathways.

It was a time to take in the peace and calm of nature.

And then it seemed in no time at all that it was all over and we descended the pathway to go back home.
